Amid pink walls, reflecting pools and white horses, Dior found the perfect setting in Luis Barragán’s work to reinterpret Mexican equestrian heritage for its Cruise 2019 collection.

A full-page magazine cover with the bold white title "DIOR AT CUADRA SAN CRISTÓBAL". In the center, a model wearing a black wide-brimmed sombrero and a voluminous white pleated skirt poses by extending her dress under a massive bright pink concrete architectural structure. At the bottom, the entire composition is reflected on a large, still body of water
A page titled "A SETTING WITH A STORY OF ITS OWN". It features a panoramic central photograph of Cuadra San Cristóbal, showing its characteristic long, calm reflecting pool capturing the light, with a low pink wall with geometric openings in the background, surrounded by green trees under a clear blue sky. Two short text columns are placed at the bottom
A minimalist architectural page titled "THE VISION OF LUIS BARRAGÁN". On the right, a large photograph captures the interior perspective of a long, covered stable corridor, painted in cream and soft pink with a row of wooden horse stall doors. On the left, a clean text block in two columns outlines the history and functional design of the equestrian estate
A layout titled "COLOUR AS AN IDENTITY". The photograph showcases the exterior architecture of Luis Barragán's Cuadra San Cristóbal, highlighting a geometric composition of high walls in bright pink, purple, and earthy reddish tones, with a black horse standing near a water trough in the background and a reflecting pool in the foreground. Three columns of text line the bottom of the page
A page titled "WATER FOR THE HORSES". The main photograph captures the "Fuente de los Amantes" (Fountain of Lovers) designed by Luis Barragán, showing a large volume of water cascading from a pink concrete channel into a bright turquoise pool. A small text box on the left reads "A fountain designed to be used, not simply admired", followed by an explanatory article at the bottom
A magazine spread titled "DIOR FINDS INSPIRATION IN MEXICO". It features a large background photograph in muted grey and sepia tones showing women from behind riding white horses, dressed in traditional Mexican escaramuza charra attire and wide-brimmed sombreros. A large white rectangular overlay on the lower right contains a detailed text description of the Cruise 2019 collection
An editorial page titled "FROM MEXICO TO DIOR". On the right, a close-up photograph features the iconic Dior Saddle bag with an intricate black and white embroidered pattern, slung over a horse's back. On the left, a small illustration of an open book listing Mexican women photographers is shown above a short text article divided into two columns.
A magazine layout titled "THE EYE OF PAOLA VIVAS". It features a fashion photograph of model Mariana Zaragoza posing with a black wide-brimmed hat, a long embroidered chiffon gown with a full skirt, and a wide black leather belt. She is standing on outdoor concrete stairs next to a massive vivid pink wall. At the bottom, short descriptive paragraphs are organized into three columns
An editorial page titled "TWO WORLDS COME TOGETHER". On the right, a full-length fashion photograph shows a model wearing a wide-brimmed beige hat, a sheer cream-colored long lace dress, and a wide decorated corset belt. She is posing in front of a textured Mexican-pink concrete wall. On the left side, a blocks of explanatory English text is set against a brown background of a Horse chest.
