Khy enters the footwear world with Gia Borghini

Fashion label Khy, founded by Kylie Jenner, is about to enter a new category: footwear. On August 21, the brand will introduce its first shoe collection in collaboration with Italian label Gia Borghini, combining Khy’s minimalist aesthetic with European-inspired craftsmanship.
The debut collection will be available through Khy’s platform and will feature three silhouettes: Studio Thong, an everyday sandal; Muse Thong, an architectural wedge; and Icon Sandal, defined by its straps and buckles.
The three designs revisit codes from the late ’90s and early 2000s, reinterpreted through a more refined aesthetic. The collection features black and white leather, metallic details, and chocolate-toned pony hair, creating a balance of sensuality, minimalism, and nostalgia.
The project also marks a strategic move for Khy. Known for its drop-based releases, the brand is expanding its universe beyond clothing and establishing itself in a new fashion category.

The campaign was photographed by Mert & Marcus in Los Angeles, with Kylie Jenner wearing the new designs to highlight the collection’s proportions and silhouettes. Before officially unveiling the collection, Kylie had already teased the launch during the NBA Finals, where she was spotted wearing one of the chrome-heeled styles.
Having Kylie front the campaign continues a strategy Khy knows well: turning every launch into a visual moment before it even reaches the market.
The collection has certainly made an impact on social media. The response has been particularly enthusiastic around the designs’ sensuality, sophistication, and ’90s-inspired aesthetic. Images of Kylie, captured for the campaign by Mert & Marcus, have helped turn the launch into one of Khy’s latest standout visual moments.

The conversation is also part of the phenomenon surrounding the brand. Khy continues to use limited-edition drops and digital buzz as an essential part of its identity, turning each release into a fashion moment that extends beyond the collection itself.
With Gia Borghini, Kylie Jenner is taking Khy from the wardrobe into footwear, with a debut collection where ’90s nostalgia meets Italian luxury and the brand’s minimalist language. More than just a new drop, the launch opens up a new category as Khy expands its universe and defines its next chapter.
