The group Kering has introduced its new strategy, “ReconKering,” led by Luca de Meo, aiming to reposition the conglomerate by 2030 in an increasingly competitive luxury market.

The plan includes internal restructuring, the closure of underperforming stores, and a stronger focus on key markets such as China.

Additionally, the strategy emphasizes strengthening core brands like Gucci, integrating sustainability and innovation as pillars to better connect with today’s consumer.

This move reflects a broader industry shift: luxury no longer relies solely on heritage, but on its ability to evolve and remain culturally relevant.
