LULULEMON UNDER INVESTIGATION OVER “FOREVER CHEMICALS”

The brand Lululemon is under investigation in Texas following an order by Attorney General Ken Paxton regarding the potential use of PFAS in its apparel.

These compounds, known as “forever chemicals,” are highly persistent and have been associated in studies with potential health risks.

Although the company states it phased them out in 2023, the investigation—still in its early stages—aims to determine whether they remain present and whether its sustainability claims are accurate.
