L’Oréal takes over Gucci Beauty
Gucci Beauty is entering a new chapter. Following the early termination of its licensing agreement with Coty, L’Oréal will take over the global development and distribution of the maison’s fragrances and beauty products through an exclusive 50-year agreement, effective July 1, 2027.
The move strengthens L’Oréal Luxe’s position in the luxury beauty sector and marks a new era for Gucci Beauty, potentially bringing new product offerings, broader global reach, and an evolution of the brand’s beauty experience for consumers.
Until then, Coty will continue managing the brand through June 2027, while focusing its resources on strengthening the rest of its portfolio.

Gucci Beauty cambia de manos. Tras la finalización anticipada de la licencia con Coty, L’Oréal asumirá el desarrollo y la distribución mundial de las fragancias y productos de belleza de la maison mediante un acuerdo exclusivo de 50 años, vigente a partir del 1 de julio de 2027.
Con este movimiento, L’Oréal Luxe fortalece su presencia en el segmento de belleza de alta gama y abre una nueva etapa para Gucci Beauty, que podría traducirse en nuevas propuestas de producto, mayor alcance global y una evolución de la experiencia de belleza de la firma para sus consumidores.
Mientras tanto, Coty continuará operando la marca hasta junio de 2027 y enfocará sus recursos en fortalecer el resto de su portafolio.
