Victoria’s Secret brings back the fantasy

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to Los Angeles on October 18, bringing wings, lingerie and spectacle back to the centre of the runway. Bella Hadid opened the show, while Adriana Lima took on the closing walk, joined by familiar faces including Gigi Hadid, Alex Consani and Alessandra Ambrosio. The edition also marked Kylie Jenner’s runway debut at the show, wearing the Fantasy Bra, a $50 million creation developed in collaboration with Jacob & Co.

Music once again took centre stage, with performances by Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae, Megan Moroney and KATSEYE. One of the standout moments was the appearance of Solange Omon, a Cameroonian-born model selected through an open casting that attracted thousands of applicants. Her prize includes a modelling contract with IMG Models. With a set inspired by spring, summer, autumn and two interpretations of winter, Victoria’s Secret returned to the formula that turned its runway show into a cultural phenomenon: fashion, music and fantasy sharing the same stage.
