Ariana Grande is the face of Swarovski Classica

Swarovski enters a new era of fine jewelry with its most minimalist collection yet.

Swarovski has unveiled Classica, its latest jewelry collection, fronted by Global Brand Ambassador Ariana Grande. Directed by Global Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, the 29-piece collection marks the brand’s first move into minimalist fine jewelry, crafted in recycled sterling silver and finished with Swarovski Zirconia pavé.

Inspired by the organic beauty of the calla lily, the collection features fluid silhouettes, curved lines, and versatile designs created to move effortlessly from day to night.

The collection was unveiled internationally at Café Swarovski in Milan, where the pieces will remain on display throughout September. A new chapter for Swarovski—and a quieter take on sparkle.

Bedazzling is shining again

The Y2K obsession with covering everything in crystals is back, and now it’s becoming a new beauty and wellness experience.

Kylie Jenner’s 29th birthday, celebrated under the Princess Kitty theme, put bedazzling back at the center of the conversation, with rhinestones covering cakes, glasses, and décor. Since then, TikTok and Instagram have filled with phone cases, bottles, makeup, and everyday objects transformed with crystals.

But the trend has already moved beyond social media. In 2026, bedazzling bars are appearing at beauty events and pop-ups, where guests can customize everything from makeup packaging to coffee tumblers with the help of professional crystal artists.

Its popularity also reflects a growing fatigue with the clean look. After years of minimalism and uniform aesthetics, maximalism feels personal, playful, and accessible again, with affordable DIY kits making it easy to recreate at home.

And there’s another reason it resonates: placing crystal after crystal forces us…

Tom Holland brings high jewelry into the Spider-Man universe

Tom Holland surprised at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere by wearing an exclusive spider brooch created by Pragnell on the knot of his tie. Developed over more than 350 hours, the piece translates Spider-Man’s story into high jewelry through every one of its elements.

At its center, an exceptional 5,114-carat Lightning Ridge black opal reveals flashes of red, green, and orange that mirror the vivid world of Marvel. On its head, a rare natural green-blue diamond—its color the result of geological radiation—references the bite that transformed Peter Parker. Ruby fangs add a nod to danger and the iconic red of his suit.

But the true feat of engineering lies in the yellow-gold legs. Designed with hidden hinges, they articulate with the actor’s movement, mirroring the agility of the spider. The result is a piece in which high jewelry doesn’t simply represent Spider-Man—it comes to life with him.

High jewelry takes center stage

The world's leading luxury groups are strengthening their focus on high jewelry. Companies such as LVMH, Richemont, and Kering increasingly see the category as one of their most resilient segments, while growth in leather goods begins to moderate amid a more cautious economic climate.

More than a strategic shift, this move reflects a new understanding of value in luxury, where pieces crafted from precious metals and gemstones are regaining prominence as creations designed to outlast changing trends.
