Purra turns a water bottle into a weight
The Thai mineral water brand brought product design into the fitness world with an idea as simple as it is unexpected: turning its bottles into a kettlebell.
During HYROX Bangkok, Purra introduced Purra Kettlebell, an adapter with an ergonomic handle and locking system that allows its water bottles to be assembled into a functional weight ranging from 3 to 6 kilograms.
The activation turned something as ordinary as carrying a water bottle into a workout experience. Although the accessory was created exclusively for the event and is not available for purchase, its success on social media has already sparked conversation about bringing it to the wider public.
Beyond fitness, the idea reveals something interesting about today’s wellness culture: it’s no longer enough to sell a healthy product; brands want to become part of the way we live, train, and experience their products.
