Lacoste takes tennis into new territory

For Spring/Summer 2027, Lacoste brought its runway to the Philippe-Chatrier court at Roland-Garros, where Pelagia Kolotouros turned the dynamism and physical effort of tennis into a source of experimentation. The collection combined oversized silhouettes, sportswear, and a palette of earthy tones, greens, blues, and silver finishes, while different elements of the sport were reinterpreted far beyond their usual context.

The footwear took this idea a step further, with the collection introducing sporty heels featuring technical lacing and external structures inspired by a tennis net, bringing a code designed for the court into urban fashion. Meanwhile, the ACE-T1 sneaker added a playful touch with a miniature tennis ball embedded directly into the heel. The collection was completed by the pleated Lenglen bag, a design that pays tribute to the tennis skirts of Suzanne Lenglen. In this way, Lacoste looks back to its sporting heritage to transform it into something less literal and far more contemporary.
