Copenhagen just changed the rules of scandi style
Copenhagen Fashion Week closed its Spring/Summer 2027 edition, proving that Scandi style no longer means quiet minimalism. For its 20th anniversary, CPHFW turned street style into one of the season’s most important runways, where layering, unexpected proportions, and color took center stage.
Capri pants and tailored bermuda shorts emerged as key pieces, even styled underneath sheer midi dresses. Ruffles, lace, and oversized fringe added movement to otherwise pared-back silhouettes.
And while black and white remained strong, Copenhagen embraced a much bolder palette: mustard yellow, saturated lemon yellow, turquoise blue, and camouflage emerged as the new accents for breaking away from traditional restraint.
The message this season is clear: the new Scandinavian style isn’t trying to blend in.
