Lufthansa turns flying etiquette into fashion

Who said airplane etiquette had to be boring? Lufthansa has turned the unwritten rules of flying into a limited-edition streetwear collection.

Created with creative agency Serviceplan Group, the Travel Etiquette Collection features seven pieces, including hoodies, T-shirts, caps, and totes, stamped with some of the most relatable rules of air travel: “Middle seat gets the armrests,” “Recline Responsibly,” and “Live, love, exit by row.”

Instead of publishing another rulebook, Lufthansa turned everyday in-flight friction into something far more shareable: fashion with a sense of humor.

And there’s a catch. The collection isn’t for sale. The pieces can only be won through giveaways on Lufthansa’s social channels and selected creators, making the campaign as exclusive as it is unexpected.

Because apparently, the next fashion statement is knowing when not to recline your seat.

Samsonite acquires a majority stake in BÉIS

The deal brings Shay Mitchell’s digital-first travel brand into Samsonite’s global portfolio.

Samsonite will acquire an 85% stake in BÉIS for $178.5 million, valuing the travel and lifestyle brand at approximately $210 million.

Founded by Shay Mitchell in 2018, BÉIS has built a strong presence among younger consumers through its digital-first strategy and social media community, generating nearly $210 million in net sales in 2025.

Despite the acquisition, BÉIS will remain an independent brand under Samsonite, while Mitchell retains a 15% stake and continues to lead its creative vision and product design.

The move marks a strategic step for Samsonite to bring digital influence, younger audiences, and contemporary travel culture into its global portfolio.

Missoni brings its resort club to Egypt

Missoni has taken its vacation universe to a new destination. The Italian house has opened its first Resort Club in Africa, a summer pop-up at Hotel Villa Coconut in Zoya Ghazala Bay, along Egypt’s North Coast.

The space transforms the hotel with Missoni’s signature codes: emerald, lime, turquoise, and yellow appear across loungers, umbrellas, towels, and cushions, while a dedicated boutique brings together ready-to-wear, swimwear, accessories, and Missoni Home pieces.

The opening is also part of a larger strategy to turn luxury travel destinations into new retail environments. After all, for Missoni, the resort is no longer just a destination. It’s part of the brand.
