Yayoi Kusama, one of the most radical and influential figures in contemporary art, died at the age of 97 at a hospital in Tokyo on August 14. The news was publicly confirmed on August 27 in Japan by her representative studios and the Yayoi Kusama Museum.

Yohji Yamamoto unveils Yohji Yamamoto Drawings, a 320-page volume featuring 183 previously unpublished sketches created between 1981 and 1999. Published by Thames & Hudson and designed by Peter Saville, the book offers a rare glimpse into the Japanese designer's creative process.
